Welcome to the Watercolour 12 week course! Join us starting on Mon 28th April 2024 at 10:00 AM for a fun and creative journey into the world of watercolour painting. This term the theme will be ‘Goddesses and Nymphs’ and their assoicated symbols as inspiration for subject matter.
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this course is perfect for anyone looking to improve their skills and unleash their creativity. Don't miss out on this opportunity to meet fellow art enthusiasts. See you there!
Use watercolour to create celestial forms and spaces: clouds and weathered sky-scapes, moons and the firmaments, stars and the elements, and more. There will be a watercolour painting process or technique each week which we’ll focus around to make stratospheric subjects. Beginners are very welcome (I can give you a few exercises to do in the first couple of classes to gain confidence if wanted). The sessions will be process lead and experimental. This is a supportive and informal class for those who love making paintings.
Led by Alison Ballance a visual artist and educator who uses these techniques in their own practice
